About the presenters:
Gayle A. Brandel is President/CEO of PROFESSIONALS for NONPROFITS (PNP), the only full-service staffing company providing Temporary, Consulting and Direct Hire staff to nonprofits. Founded in 1996 and serving over 2,000 nonprofits, PNP has offices in New York City; Newark, NJ; Washington, DC; Baltimore and Philadelphia.
Prior to founding PNP, Ms. Brandel served the nonprofit community for over twenty years in a financial and business management capacity as the CFO in a number of NYC cultural institutions. She has authored articles for a variety of publications, and is a prominent speaker at many nonprofit and for-profit events and conferences. She is a recipient of the 2000 Star Award for Public Service from the New York Society of Association Executives.
Ms. Brandel received an MBA from Fordham University and an MA from Hunter College. She is a National Urban Fellow, serves on the Boards of several nonprofits including the New York Staffing Association, and is an active member of the New York Society of Association Executives, Governance Matters, the Women's Presidents Organization, the President's Forum, and has served as a judge in the 2009-2010 Social Impact Business Competition sponsored by Duke University.
Beverly Daniel, founder of the CareerGrowth Group, is a well-known business executive and management consultant in the human capital development and management field. She has spoken and lectured throughout the USA on the topics she knows best from over 25 years experience in: career management and development, executive coaching, executive search, and leadership development and leadership training. In more recent years, as she began coaching executives and management-level professionals, particularly investment bankers and hedge fund managers. Currently, her clients are professionals in the midst of career changes, as well as professionals reaching to attain new levels of success in their chosen fields.
Previously, she served as an executive search consultant to numerous clients from major FORTUNE 500 companies; i.e., Avon Products, Colgate-Palmolive, Exxon-Mobil, etc., leading financial services companies; i.e., Citigroup and JP MorganChase, as well as leading-edge management consulting firms; i.e., Deloitte Consulting and McKinsey & Company. In 1998, Consulting Magazine named Beverly to their “Ten Best” list of search professionals for outstanding service in the management consulting field.
Beverly is a well-known speaker and panelist and has spoken recently at Stern Women in Business Leadership Conference at New York University , The Entrepreneurship Conference at New York University , National Association of Female Executives, New York chapter, and The Institute of Management Consultants, New York chapter. Also, she has spoken at the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Women in Corporate Communications (WICI), and the Employment Advisory Group (EAG) of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church.
Ms. Daniel has been very active in numerous professional societies. For the past fifteen years, she has been an active executive board member of IMC (The Institute of Management Consultants). Other societies where she has been highly visible are: The CLM (Council of Logistics Management) and SIM (Society for Information Management). Currently she is a member of CDSN (Career Development Specialists Network) and CCC (Career Counselors Consortium).
In addition, Beverly holds a BS and MS in Psychological Counseling from Boston University . She holds an MBA in Management from New York University. Beverly studied for a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Case Western Reserve University . Her graduate degrees were obtained in the evenings by working full-time.
