NYSAE's Technology Institute To Tackle Social Networking and E-Fundraising

Join NYSAE on April 29 for its Technology Institute, which will help organizations learn how to leverage the web to support a variety of marketing campaigns, educational programs, build their communities, support their commercial goals, and more. The program includes two parallel tracks, focusing on social networking and e-fundraising.

The Social Networking Track will feature Developing a Social Networking Engagement Strategy, to be addressed by Andy Steggles, chief information officer, at Risk and Insurance Management Society. Jason Silberfein, director, Young Adult Initiatives at GesherCity will speak on A Successful Social Networking Model.

Scott Lange, with Marts & Lundy, will speak on E-Philanthropy: New Techniques in a New Economy. This session will be followed by a panel presentation, E-Fundraising: One Size Does Not Fit All, to be moderated by Gregory Boroff, CAE, CFRE, senior vice president, external relations, the Food Bank of New York City.

Following the sessions, the presenters for each of the programs will discuss how social networking and e-fundraising complement each other, how each can inform the other, and how engaging members, donors, and customers becomes critical to the organization's bottom line.
