2015 Marks NYSAE’s Launch Into
The Social Networking Arena

By Holly Koenig

NYSAE, has joined the social media world with the official launch of its Facebook page (www.facebook.com/nysaenet), LinkedIn group and Twitter feed (@nysaenet). NYSAE members and the industry-at-large now have more ways to engage and keep up to date with the activities, programs, and news of NYSAE and the association and not-for-profit community in the greater New York region.

"We're so proud of the fact that we're disseminating social media content that is 100% volunteer driven," said Joel Dolci, CAE, President of NYSAE. "Who better to report on the activities of this wonderful organization and offer new ways to engage and exchange ideas than NYSAE committee volunteers and leaders," added Dolci.

"These days our audiences are consuming content across multiple platforms. All are viable tools to help spread awareness of NYSAE's important mission and to help build our organization's visibility," said Lester Shafran, Executive Director, Independent Payphone Association, and Chair of NYSAE's Board of Directors. "NYSAE has always been a leader in building a strong community through networking. Our online platforms offer members additional ways to network in the fast-paced era of communications that we live."

NYSAE's goal for the first year is to increase engagement by the number of posts, likes, and followers. NYSAE members, friends, and suppliers are invited to join the conversation.

Like NYSAE on Facebook at www.facebook.com/nysaenet; follow us on Twitter at www.twitter.com/nysaenet; and join the New York Society of Association Executives group on LinkedIn. Most importantly, enhance your networking by participating in the conversations on our new social media platforms.
