The San Diego Tourism Authority (SDTA) has a new message to encourage meeting planners and groups to select San Diego for their meetings and conventions. SDTA recently launched a new meetings-focused advertising campaign, Forecast: Success. The campaign promotes unique and undiscovered locations for groups to convene outside of the city's urban core, including Mission Valley, Mission Bay and La Jolla's University Town Center. The campaign ads are currently scheduled to run through 2015 in a variety of meetings and convention trade publications, including Meetings + Conventions, Smart Meetings, Successful Meetings, Meeting Focus, Plan Your Meeting Magazine, Connect Magazine, Small Market Meetings, Association Conventions & Facilities, Association News and Aspire Magazine. Ads will also run in publications targeting key business influencers and niche market segments, including Collaborate, Black Meetings & Tourism, Rejuvenate, Religious Conference Manager, Sports Travel and Hispanic Meetings & Travel.
