Nomination Information

An NYSAE member or non-member must be nominated or self-nominated by an NYSAE member or non-member.

Upon receipt of a nomination for an award, NYSAE will send the nominee a letter informing them of their nomination and asking them to complete a Personal Data Form, which asks for basic information on their current and past positions and other information to help the Awards Committee select the most qualified candidate.

If nominated, the nominee must agree, in writing, to become a candidate for an award.

The nominee will be asked to return the Personal Data Form along with a Letter of Acceptance to the Awards Committee at NYSAE offices.

All forms and letters must be received at NYSAE offices by 5:00PM of Friday, February 10, 2017.

The Awards Committee meets to review all qualified nominees and Personal Data Forms and makes its recommendations to the NYSAE Board of Directors.

Awards for Outstanding Association/Non-Profit Executive, Outstanding Associate Member, Volunteer of the Year, Distinguished Service, Digital Excellence, the New Star, and Social Responsibility will be presented at the Synergy Awards Luncheon in April 2017.

  • Deadline for all nominations is Friday, February 10, 2017.
  • Nominate only one person for each award.
  • Self-nominations are encouraged.
  • Anonymous submissions are not accepted.
