This year marks the 40th anniversary of National Volunteer Week (April 6-12, 2014)—a program of the Points of Light and sponsored by Advil® as a part of the Advil® Relief in Action campaign.
The week is about inspiring, recognizing and encouraging people to seek out imaginative ways to engage in our communities, in our organizations. It’s about demonstrating that by working together, we have the fortitude to meet our challenges and accomplish our goals. It's about recognizing and thanking the volunteers all our associations and nonprofits heavily rely on to accomplish our missions.
