We know that not everyone loves to use email or browses the web. To Google something is probably alien. However, the rest of us (and quite possibly a majority of your association members) do Google subjects, shop on-line and even have a Smart Phone.
Therefore, why not encourage the use of technology. Here are some simple tips:
- Update your website to make it user friendly and simple to navigate
- Keep your website current
- Make your website responsive so it is easily seen on mobile devices, such as tablets and Smart Phones
- Use Social Media to promote your next conference as far in advance as possible
- Regularly contribute to Social Media to be current. Do simple things such as announcing a breakout session topic or query your members to see what they would like to learn
- Be consistent with all of the above.
