Google. Everyone knows the name. Their domination of the search market, email and other online services, plus forays into other electronic consumer products, puts them at the epicenter of today’s technology landscape. Along with that, they have built up a tremendously powerful suite of cloud-based business tools suited for the workplace that you can leverage at little to no cost. Conversely, you have a need to create and share documents, spreadsheets, calendars, and other work-type files with your colleagues. And while there are other production and email software titles on the market, Google’s services have become synonymous with ease and efficiency.

Enter Google Apps. Google’s collection of online apps makes creating sharable documents, calendars and other workplace documents a breeze.

In this one-hour lunchtime session, members of the NYSAE Technology Committee will share tips and techniques for using Google Docs, Google Drive and other tools provided by them. You’ll discover how to:

  • Create and Share Google Documents
  • Use Google Drive for Storing Files
  • Use Gmail for your organization
  • Use Google Calendar
  • Get a glimpse of other useful Google Apps

The Presentation Will Be Lead by…
Longtime NYSAE member Lee Hornstein leads the discussion as we share our good ideas. Lee is Founder and CEO of (C) Systems, LLC, providers of database, web, and IT support services. He brings a deep knowledge and understanding of project management processes, membership and fundraising applications, event management, accounting, order fulfillment, customer service, and distribution systems. He graduated from the University of Colorado with a BS in Information Systems from the Leeds School of Business in 1979.
