When:  Oct 16, 2015 from 08:30 AM to 10:00 AM (ET)

Keys to Building a Successful Career

Planning a career in association management or the nonprofit world is often like planning for retirement. We know we should start early but don't give it much thought until later in life. But failure to think about your career path can result in poor job choices, unrewarding work, and stagnation. This Next Gen Leadership Group session will show you how to think about career advancement.  It will present insights on the assets your past and current professional experiences have built for you, the kinds of work environments in which you can be most successful, and which types of organizations and job experiences will help you get ahead. It will show you how to position yourself for increasing levels of responsibility.  You will learn how to develop a passion for success and a personal brand that will have search firms calling you. This session is geared toward young professionals in the early stages of their career.
