Slice Out Hunger is an annual event run by pizza lovers for pizza lovers. This year's event happened on October 9 at St Anthony's Church in Soho. Doors opened at 6:00 p.m. and closed when the pizza ran out. Tickets were available at the door for $1 each and were exchanged inside for a slice of pizza from one of 35+ pizzerias, a Fizzy Lizzy all natural soda, a dessert item from Brewla Bars or a raffle ticket. The event is entirely volunteer-run and 100% of the proceeds went directly to Food Bank For NYC.
