May 17th Events Take the Day at NYSAE


On Wednesday, May 17th, NYSAE's 2017 Cyber Security Summit - called "What the Hack!?!" - featured educational presentations from cyber security experts especially designed for association and nonprofit professionals. With near daily reports of cyber crimes occurring throughout the world, most recently the WannaCry ransomware that impacted 150 countries, the timing of the event was spot on. The topics included Staying Safe in an Internet World, Cloud Products are Taking Over - Risks and Rewards for Associations, and Hacking - It's Not Magic. Following the summit, NYSAE held its 98th Annual Meeting Luncheon. At the luncheon, members confirmed the nominations of new officers, networked with one another, and learned about NYSAE's upcoming Board and Committee Retreat taking place July 16-17 in Atlantic City.
