Jean Dorak, Chair of NYSAE’s NextGen SIG, has joined the Association for a Better New York as its Program & Membership Manager. The organization is a coalition of more than 300 business, labor, non-profit and political leaders dedicated to the constant growth and renewal of New York City’s people, businesses and communities.

Amy Geffen, PhD

Amy Geffen, PhD, has been named Director, Professional Development for the Council for Economic Education, which focuses on economics and financial literacy education by providing economics education resources to teachers & students. Geffen, who previously was Interim Executive Director of the Financial Women’s Association, is Chair of NYSAE’s Education Committee.

Nicole Millman-Falk

Nicole Millman-Falk recently founded New Jersey Murals, a nonprofit whose mission is to bring together artists, the business community, and residents to transform public spaces into an art gallery, bringing art in people's daily lives, and making art free and accessible to all. Millman-Falk is President of Millman-Falk Communications, LLC, providing content development and strategic communication services for trade associations, professional societies, and donor-based organizations. In addition to her own company, she serves as Editor for Apogee Publications, which provides turnkey association newsletters, magazines, and membership directories. Millman-Falk is Chair of NYSAE’s PR & Marketing Committee.

David Teisler, CAE

David Teisler, CAE, Director of Communications, at the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies, is celebrating 22 years with the organization. Teisler is Chair of NYSAE’s Technology Committee.

Marvin Morrison

Marvin Morrison has been named Senior Vice President of Global Relationship Management with EventBank, which offers an integrated event to revenue SaaS platform. Formerly with the International Council of Shopping Centers, Morrison is a member of NYSAE’s Technology Committee.

The list recognizes the 100 employers around the world who scored the highest among millennials, who make up more than 36% of Hilton's workforce. As part of Hilton's commitment to leveraging the perspectives and ides of younger generations and to foster innovation and increased competitiveness in the marketplace, Hilton will launch a new Team Member Resource Group (TMRG) focused on Millennials later this year. To determine Fortune’s second annual list of the 100 Best Workplaces for Millennials, the magazine’s research partners surveyed more than 88,000 millennials at more than 600 companies. Other hotels on the list include: Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants; Hyatt Hotels; and Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts. The American Heart Association was the only nonprofit on the list.
