NYSAE's 2015 Synergy Awards Luncheon (to be held April 22 in conjunction with the Technology Institute) is ready to shine a light on you!
Nominations are now open for ALL awards, including: New Star Award; Outstanding Association/Nonprofit Executive Award; Outstanding Associate Member Award; Distinguished Service Award: Volunteer of the Year Award; Digital Excellence Award; Social Responsibility Award; and Program Development Award.
If you read your September issue of InView, then you saw all the changes that have recently been made to the NYSAE Awards Program so that we can recognize all the GREATNESS within NYSAE.
Here's some new highlights for this year
NYSAE has always recognized an Outstanding Association or Nonprofit CEO. But we also know that there are many staff positions (those of you who head up your publications, government affairs departments, membership or meeting development) who are also doing remarkable work. So we've added an Outstanding Program Development Award to recognize an executive or manager who has contributed significantly to the development of innovative, visionary programming at your organization.
We've also revamped our Outstanding Committee Chairperson Award and broadened that category. This year, we will be presenting a Volunteer of the Year Award. This award will recognize outstanding service and leadership as a volunteer to NYSAE. So, all of you who are on a committee, speak at NYSAE programs, are regular contributors to InView, or do other special volunteer work for NYSAE, are encouraged to apply for this award.
And lastly, we've broadened our Website Excellence Award category (Beware: we will still be checking out all your websites) to also include a Digital Excellence Award. This award will recognize an organization that demonstrates visionary innovation in the use of digital technology and social media to advance your mission.

(In fact, self-nominations are encouraged) Visit NYSAENET.ORG and click on the Awards Section on the right hand side of the homepage and you'll get to the form.
