Harmony in the C-Suite:
The CEO and the Elected Leader Relationship

A strong Board-CEO dynamic is essential for the success of any organization. The relationship should be professional, trusting and respectful. Engage in a conversation about the key elements needed to make your organization even more successful, including setting expectations and processes, behaviors or policies you implement in order to maintain and build successful relationships. Learn what the latest research on this topic tells us about best practices and insights of Board members. Our CEO-Volunteer Leader panel will discuss best practices, accountability and tips for performance evaluations, legal commitments, and tips to maximize organizational success. Dr. David Rehr rounds out the panel with insights from his latest research on maximizing CEO and Board effectiveness.

Whether you're a CEO, President, Executive Director or General Manager, beyond having the passion for the mission, you must have strong management skills to survive. A bad relationship between the Chair and CEO is toxic for the entire organization in the short term, and undermines the reputation for the organization well into the future. Join us for this exclusive program, and bring your elected leader to engage in the conversation. Learn tips for success and mistakes to be avoided.
