LinkedIn is no doubt this generation's "go to" solution for building a career profile. It is an absolute must for knowledge leaders, consultants and professionals seeking to influence others, expand their network, research job opportunities, or find new clients. And while there are over 500 million profiles on LinkedIn, many users are not aware of how to use the platform to increase their overall visibility and sphere of influence.
This Pro Dev workshop will help attendees - who already have a LinkedIn profile - learn how to become more visible on the platform by through easy-to-learn tactics such as feed posts, participating in and moderating groups, and being active on company pages. In addition, attendees will learn how to evaluate potential leads and communicate more effectively through the platform. We'll also bring attendees up-to-date on the latest LinkedIn features and best practices while briefly touching on other social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
Who is this Workshop For?
This workshop is designed for association and non-profit professionals who already have profiles but need to increase their personal visibility and/or their organization's visibility on LinkedIn (and other social media platforms).
The workshop will be led by NYSAE Member Beverly Daniel, MS, MBA, of CareerGrowth Group and Denman Wall, NYSAE's Director of Interactive Services. This tag team duo has hosted several professional development workshops over the last several years.
Beverly is a well-known business executive and management consultant in the human capital development and management field. She has spoken and lectured throughout the USA on the topics she knows best from over 25 years experience in: career management and development, executive coaching, executive search, and leadership development and leadership training.
Denman is Director of Interactive Services for Dolci Management and NYSAE. He is a digital communications and engagement specialist with 20 years of experience directing, implementing, and supporting online communications initiatives, customer and member engagement programs, and information systems.
