HOW OPERATIONS IS A KEY INGREDIENT TO SUCCESS IN A NOT-FOR-PROFIT

Based on the unique executive structure of not-for-profit organizations, the board of directors is responsible for the overall mission-related strategies, the ceo or executive director implements the mission-oriented strategies through their staff, and the coo leads the executive management team and develops a performance culture among a talented pool. Often in the case if small nonprofits, professional societies or charitable organizations, the executive director oversees a small group of gifted directors and staff without a coo and sometimes even without an assistant executive director. Regardless of the structure of your nonprofit, the goal is to create a collaborative group that is accountable. Why is the HOW just as important as the WHAT when implementing a business strategy? Bring your experiences to this dynamic discussion and learn from our facilitator and each other.
