Engagement Lounge: Budget Implications and Keeping Our Staff Informed and Engaged

Before the pandemic we probably spent more of our waking hours with our office colleagues than we did with our families. Now, our professional and personal worlds have collided. Now more than ever we need a sense of community and connection. Whether you’re in a small or large organization, attendees will share their stories on how they are accomplishing this.

No one can predict how long we will need to work from home, how long social distancing will be in effect. The pandemic has impacted our organization in so many ways.  It’s time for contingency planning. For some of us, the board has already asked for preliminary 2021 budgets. But how do we project our cash flow when we’re unsure if even our postponed fall conference will ever happen? How do we budget for membership dues retention when so many of our members’ lives have been impacted? Here’s some of the questions we will answer: How is your organization helping employees maintain emotional and physical health during this crisis?
