Valerie J. Cammiso, CAE is the Executive Director of the CPCU Society and the Griffith Educational Foundation at the Institutes. From 2007 through 2016 she was the Executive Director and President of the ICSC Foundation, the charitable arm of the International Council of Shopping Centers. She was a member of the ICSC senior staff team while directing and overseeing all the foundation’s operations. She fundraised to achieve results providing education, scholarships and community engagement that fulfilled the ICSC Foundation mission to strengthen the retail real estate industry through philanthropy.
Prior to 2007, Ms. Cammiso spent over 13 years at the Risk and Insurance Management Society, (RIMS) an international nonprofit association for risk managers. As Director, she was responsible for all aspects of membership and volunteer services. She also managed and trained the volunteer network of over 1,000+ along with the Board of Directors and Executive Council.
Ms. Cammiso started her career with corporate real estate firms LaSalle Partners, where she was an accounting coordinator, and Kimco Realty Corporation where she worked in the leasing department.
Ms. Cammiso is an active member of the American Society of Association Executives, the Association Foundation Group and the New York Society of Association Executives where she received the 2015 Distinguished Service Award.
