Louis Coletti

Louis Coletti, president and CEO of the Building Trades Employers Association and a past chair of the board of NYSAE, was a speaker at the second annual City & State’s New Agenda Forum on the role women and minority owned businesses/suppliers and diversity play in government and private business. Formed from the merger of City Hall and The Capitol newspapers, City & State is devoted solely to covering government and politics in the city and state.


Ingrid Montecino

Ingrid Montecino has been appointed president & CEO of the Arthritis Foundation, Northeast Region. In partnership with the Regional Board of Directors, Montecino will provide strategic leadership to sustain the growth of the organization serving Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and New York. The Arthritis Foundation (www.arthritis.org) is the nation’s largest nonprofit organization that provides life-changing programs and services focusing on the prevention, control and cure of arthritis. Prior to joining the Arthritis Foundation, Montecino was president of the National Kidney Foundation's Northeast Region. Montecino is a member of the NYSAE Board of Directors.


Joseph E. Spinnato

Joseph E. Spinnato, president of the Hotel Association of New York City and a past chair of the board of NYSAE, will receive the 2013 Richard A. Cook Gold Medal Award from the Hundred Year Association on November 26 at the Union League Club. Jonathan Tisch is chair of the gala 79th Annual Gold Medal Dinner in honor of the association’s its 135th anniversary. The Hotel Association of New York City represents over 200 hotels that employ over 30,000 people and generate billions of dollars in revenues. Spinnato has also served as Fire Commissioner of New York City during the Koch administration, as First Assistant to the Special Prosecutor for Nursing Homes, and First Assistant to the District Attorney at the Nassau County District Attorney’s Office. Joe has also served on numerous civic and charitable governing and advisory boards including City Harvest, the Cardinal’s Committee for Charity, Big Apple Greeters, St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in Manhattan, and the New York Convention Center Operating Corporation. A quintessential New Yorker, he was born in Queens and attended public schools there until he entered LaSalle Military Academy in Oakdale, New York. He graduated St. John’s University and received his law degree from the University of Miami Law School.
