Attendance at specified NYSAE programs is way to earn credit toward the Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation. NYSAE programs earn one (1) points per hour of attendance or three (3) points per one-half day of attendance up to a maximum of six (6) points per day. The CAE Program is designed to elevate professional standards, enhance individual performance, and designate those who have demonstrated knowledge essential to the practice of association and not-for-profit management.
Courses in this section recommended as preparation for the CAE Certification Exam are indicated with the letters (CAE) at the end of the course description.

The program(s) below meet the requirements for fulfilling the professional development requirements to earn or maintain the Certified Association Executive credential. Every program that we offer that has been approved for CAE credit will clearly identify the number of CAE credits granted for full participation. As a CAE Registered Provider, educational program related to the CAE exam content outline, this program may be applied for the indicated credits toward your CAE application or renewal professional development requirements.
Note: Applicants may use any program that meets eligibility requirements in the specific timeframe towards the exam application or renewal. No specific individual courses are required as part of the applications – the selection of eligible education is up to the applicant based on his/her needs.
