NYSAE’s Annual Synergy Awards honors the brightest minds and the most impactful contributions within our association community of Metro New York. This prestigious event recognizes individuals and organizations who have demonstrated outstanding achievements and innovative practices, setting new standards of excellence in our industry.

Synergy Awards 2024

Each year, NYSAE celebrates the achievements of individuals and organizations that have contributed to the continued growth and relevancy of the association and not for profit community. On Tuesday, October 29, 2024 NYSAE held its Synergy Awards breakfast and ceremony in the spectacular event space of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Attendees had the opportunity to network with and celebrate key individuals and organizations for their contributions and impact to the industries they serve.

Breakfast, sponsored by D2L and OnPeak, was held in a relaxed and casual atmosphere at ICSC. Once the crowd moved to the theatre, NYSAE Chair Colleen Harper, CAE, welcomed the crowd. Awards co-chair Annette Homan, COO, RIMS, introduced Christopher Vasami of Vasami Method as the opening speaker. He shared his journey and experiences as a former college and professional baseball player, his cancer battle, and his years of coaching to help people work through their obstacles, take action, persevere, and win. With his spirited honesty and unique perspective, attendees felt encouraged, empowered and inspired.

Why the Synergy Awards Matter

The Synergy Awards are more than just accolades; they are a testament to the incredible talent, dedication, and collaborative spirit that drive NYSAE and our association community forward. By celebrating these achievements, we inspire others to reach new heights and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.

All awards are open to both NYSAE members and nonmembers of NYSAE, except for the Distinguished Service Award, which is for NYSAE volunteers. Self-nominations are encouraged. To be eligible, individuals and organizations must operate in the NY Metro Area. All available awards may not be recognized each year.
